Nursing Home Earns Deficiency-Free Survey

Springfield Masonic Community’s nursing home earned a deficiency-free rating from the Ohio Department of Health during its recent annual survey.

A team of state surveyors inspects facilities for compliance with numerous state and federal regulations on-site during a 3-day period, to determine a rating. This was the third time in five years Springfield Masonic Community has achieved a deficiency-free rating.

“This rating makes us especially proud to have such a skilled and dedicated staff caring for our residents,” said Marion Leeman, Springfield Masonic Community president. “This contributes to our legacy of 112 years of service to the community.”

This was the second recognition Springfield Masonic Community’s nursing home has earned recently. In August, it earned a 5-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Ratings System of Nursing Homes.
