Two Springfield Masonic Community residents recently had dreams fulfilled due to the help from staff and a local effort called the Senior Dream Project that helps area seniors achieve certain desires.
Assisted living resident Clara Ballard had dreamed about having a white sleigh bed since she was a little girl. On July 15, Clara at age 92, she received a white sleigh bed. Staff pitched in by getting brand new sheets to match the bed.Everyone loved the results, especially Clara.
On August 3, Janavee Hadden, a skilled nursing resident, and husband Frank enjoyed a special dream dinner together in the community center dining room.

The Haddens were provided an intimate table by a window with flowers and sparkling beverage to start out with, followed by a 3-course catered meal.
Fellow residents were as charmed as the Haddens were.
